About us

Welcome to Palazzo Rinaldi Artists’ Residency, a historical property dating back to 1822 and located in the hilltop village of Noepoli in the Basilicata region- at the heart of Italy’s largest National Park.  The Palazzo is a dedicated space for artistic creation, rest and relaxation: a home away from home for professional artists of all disciplines and nationalities.

Our facilities include large private bedrooms, 24-hr access to 3 in house artists’ studios, a self-catering kitchen, free wi-fi, panoramic terrace, multilingual library and complimentary pick-up and drop-off on arrival.  For Artists looking for more privacy or for those travelling with young families, Retreats are hosted in a private apartment within the main Palazzo Rinaldi building, with private studio and private access.

Palazzo Rinaldi Artists’ Residence is committed to actively promote interaction between its Resident Artists and the local community through exhibitions, open studio days, workshops, screenings and performances running parallel to its Residency dates.

Residencies and Retreats run every year exclusively during the summer months, spaces are limited.  For further info and details on the application process please visit our website.

Palazzo Rinaldi is a Member of Res Artis, worldwide network of artists’ residencies.
